Christmas Wishlist - Frankie Journal, Topshop Jumper, House of Harlow Bangle, Topshop Shoes, Nails Inc Gift Set, iPhone 4s, Benfit Brow kit. 

Here are a few items on my wishlist this year. Luckily the iPhone 4S is a given as I'm due an upgrade in December anyway. I'm unbelievably excited to get it!! Olly and I tried out Siri in the Apple store and it was surprisingly good, although it's a shame it can't pick up UK businesses and restaurants yet. I also love that Topshop jumper, it looks so comfy and perfect for throwing on over a pair of leggings. I've always wanted something from Nicole Richie's range House of Harlow and that bangle is simply amazing. The little Topshop Dalmatian pumps are also gorgeous!! What's on your wishlist this year? Jumper - UO, Shorts - Topshop, Boots - Carvela

Hi there! Here are a few photos of what I wore to uni today. I haven't worn shorts in a while so I decided to dig out these tweed Topshop ones that I bought in London last year. I also went a bit faux fur mad with the stole and furry Carvela boots, which were a gift from my boyfriend last Christmas. 

At the weekend I had my sisters down to stay which was really lovely. We went to see the new Twilight movie which was a lot better than the last one I thought. We also went shopping up town and I spotted some incredible reindeer PJ's in Primark. I'm definitely going back to get them later this week!! I think that now the Christmas lights have been switched on it's ok to start getting into the x-mas spirit. I really want Michael Buble's new album too.

I've also recently been using my Tumblr a bit more. I'm still a bit of a newbie but I've become rather addicted to it! Link me to yours if you have one :) This week I'm going to have my head down working on my dissertation. For company I bought another packet of Neal's Yard Uplifting Tea which I really like, apparently the herbs in it help with concentration. Hope you all have a great week!

Pure Spa Event.

Yesterday I travelled through to Edinburgh with Ayden and Claire for Pure Spa's blogger event. The staff there were all wonderful and very kindly treated us all to manicures. I chose a darker shade with a leopard print wrap which turned out beautifully. I've been so careful today to make sure I didn't chip them!! We then all had a chance to mingle and look around the spa before getting our hair pinned up.

The spa itself was stunning too, I really loved the decor and the general atmosphere was really homely and peaceful. It was great getting the chance to meet some other scottish bloggers as well. I managed to have a quick chit chat with Gem from Gembear and Rach from Racheyem (who actually organised the event itself), who were both really lovely. All in all it was a fab night, and just what I needed after a long week of essay writing. Thanks for having us Pure Spa!

I'm currently a teensy bit obsessed with faux fur hats. Maybe it's because the days are getting colder and darker now, but I can't help lusting after these cozy designs from River Island and Topshop. At the moment I'm stuck between which of these hats to buy? Tomorrow River Island have a 20% off student night in my area so I'm tempted to pick up hat number 2.  Hopefully Hannah won't mind too much ;) I'd love to splash out on a spirit hood, as I love the concept behind them but sadly my bank account is saying no. What do you think of fur hats? Do you have any?

Street lights..

Gilet - Firetrap, Jumper - Pins & Needles, Hat - Forever 21, Boots - Topshop, Bag - Mulberry 

Here's a few photos of what I wore today. I've been trying to have a wardrobe clear out and whilst doing so I stumbled upon some old clothes that I'd forgotten about, such as this cozy gilet. I bought it a couple of years ago in Firetrap in Edinburgh, but now you can get tons of similar versions. 

It was a surprisingly nice day today so Olly and I ventured up town for some lunch and a little browse around the shops. I had to literally tear myself away from all of the knit jumpers in H&M, there are so many that I want. Sadly my bank balance can't quite handle another spending spree just now :( Plus I should probably start saving for x-mas pressies. 

Tonight we're going to watch the fireworks at Glasgow Green, I'm always really impressed with their fireworks show and I love that they time it all to music. I'm going to try make the most of tonight as tomorrow I'm going to banish myself to the Library for the whole day. I have so much work I need to  get on with and I'm running out of excuses not to be doing it.
