Hi guys! We're finally here in London. Typically our move didn't go as smoothly as we'd hoped. In fact, just about everything that could go wrong did! Our things from Glasgow still aren't here, the steering on my car broke (thankfully it didn't put us in danger), our internet has been delayed in being set up... the list goes on. However, we really love our new flat and have been busy making it as homely as possible in the meantime.
Here's a few pictures from today. We went for a look around Kingston, which is near to where we're living. Because my clothes aren't here I had the perfect excuse to stop by Topshop and pick up a couple of things. My student discount runs out this month so I'm making the most of it! We also had a walk down the Thames where I picked up a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte! Words cannot describe how excited I was to try this (I'm a total saddo I know). Have to say it didn't completely live up to my expectations after hearing about it for so long on American blogs... but it was still pretty good. It reminds me a lot of their Christmas drinks! In future though I think I'll stick to making homemade ones as they're a little less sweet and a lot more 'pumpkiny'.
I'm going to be starting the job hunt next week. Fingers crossed I get some interviews! I definitely feel ready to work again after a long summer away from studying. It feels strange seeing students walking around with their folders and heavy bags. I don't feel old enough to have graduated! But I'm so excited for this next chapter. Hope you all have a great weekend! What are you up to?

Words can't express how jealous I am :) I miss London dearly!

Oh how I miss pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks. I moved to Australia in June from Canada and will be missing those for sure in the next couple of months as they don't come out here. Looking forward to hearing how your job search goes. I find it thrilling to look for new and exciting opportunities in the job market.
